Well after hundreds of emails, phone calls and all other forms of communication we finally have a regatta. On Wednesday (7th) a convoy of cars will depart WSC for Great Lakes Sailing Club just south of Forster. Racing starts on Thursday afternoon with all registration completed before 11am.
 
Most people will be camping next to the club which should set the perfect atmosphere for the regatta. On Thursday night after racing, there will be a welcome BBQ and then on Friday night, the main social evening event will take place in the form of a party! Dress loud!
 
As the regatta will be taking place under yard stick, we have already had a large number of different classes of boats register. The largest classes will be the Laser and Tasar fleets which will include some world class sailors to ensure a high standard of competition.
 
If you’re still considering coming, it’s not to late, pack you boat, tent and hit the road. The Uni Games will include sailing later in the year but this event is the student organised regatta for students.
